Tarackia Phillips Barge
Managing Attorney
Tarackia Phillips Barge was born and raised in Selma (Dallas County), Alabama. She is a product of the Dallas County School system, Troy University, and Birmingham School of Law. She is married to her husband Tony, and they enjoy parenting 21 year old A.J. and 16 year old Chloe. After witnessing family members and friends experience the criminal justice system, she developed a childhood vision of becoming an attorney to fight vigorously for those who were less fortunate. Tarackia enjoys being a voice for her clients, listening to their concerns, and exhausting every avenue to find a legal solution to meet their needs. Tarackia represents clients in Alabama municipal courts, state courts as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern & Southern Districts of Alabama.
Prior to entering the practice of law, Tarackia was an experienced bodily injury claims adjuster for a non standard auto insurance carrier where she negotiated and settled bodily injury claims with Plaintiff attorneys.
Tarackia is currently a member of the Dallas County Bar Association, Birmingham Bar Association, American Bar Association, and the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
Tarackia's most memorable case has been the representation of a 14 year old who received catastrophic injuries from a rollover, motor vehicle accident. While she was able to recover all available limits to compensate the minor child, photos of the injuries and accident scene will never be forgotten.
